Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what [LEGAL ENTITY], d/b/a Prop Season (“we,” “us”) collects when you use propseason.com and its apps (the “Service”), and how we use it. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

We do not ask for or store payment card numbers ourselves — any paid subscription is handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.

2. How we use your information

Provide, secure, and operate the Service and your account.
Send you sign-in links and, if you opt in, notifications.
Understand usage and improve our models and features.
Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers we use

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:

Supabase — authentication and database (stores your account, profile, saved slips, feedback).
Resend — sends transactional emails (your sign-in links) from propseason.com.
Vercel — hosts and serves the app.
Affiliate networks / linked operators — if you tap an affiliate link to a third-party book, that operator may set its own cookies and receive referral information subject to their privacy policy.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local storage for essentials like keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences (theme, favorites). We don’t use third-party advertising trackers within the app itself.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only: with the service providers above to run the Service; when you choose to post to a community feature (your handle, avatar, and shared slips become visible); to comply with the law or a valid legal request; or in connection with a business transfer (e.g. a sale of the company), with notice where required.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@propseason.com; we’ll act on it within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California residents under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to know what we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Contact us at the email above to make a request.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (including access controls and encryption in transit). No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is for adults 21 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21; if you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
